The Whole Slide Informatics™ platform from Visiopharm combines stereology and image analysis on the same software platform, making it possible to obtain valid and unbiased quantitative data both in the 2- and 3- dimensional space by analysis of planar tissue sections. Visiopharm's patented Whole Slide Stereology solutions automate the time-consuming parts of classical stereology methods, helping the researcher to perform stereological analysis significantly faster and more efficiently than with classical stereology. Image acquisition and stereological analysis are separated into two independent processes, which allows analysis on laptops at any time and location.
